Description
Olivier Guiraud is Director of Development and Institutional Relations for Qair’s marine activities.
He has been working in offshore wind project development in France for more than twenty years (25!) and has been involved in French offshore tenders since the very first procedures launched in the early 2000s. Throughout his career, he has contributed to several major projects within the sector.
For the past 11 years, he has been leading the development of the Eolmed floating pilot project off Port-La Nouvelle and is also overseeing the FloWatt tidal energy project in Normandy.
This experience has enabled him to develop extensive knowledge of the French port environment and the industrial challenges related to the deployment of offshore wind energy.
