In 2025, the Seanergy Awards were introduced to give visibility to companies contributing to the development of offshore renewable energy. Presented during the event, the awards aimed to recognize concrete actions and projects addressing key industry challenges. Structured around three categories, the awards reflected major priorities of the sector and offered a space to showcase collaborative efforts and technical progress. The initiative complements other event formats by focusing on the actors involved in the ongoing transformation of the energy landscape.

Introducing the  Seanergy Awards


⚙️ Industrial & Technological Innovation Award

Recognizing major breakthroughs in technological or industrial advancements for offshore renewable energy (new prototypes, improved infrastructure, innovative processes).

Projects will be assessed on :
  •  The technological leap and technology maturity (TRL)
  • The disruptive nature and measurable impact on competitiveness
  • The compliance with QHSE standards, ensuring its viability and potential for industry integration


🌱 Environmental Commitment Award

Rewarding an action or project that has a positive impact on biodiversity, such as material recyclability, reduction of the carbon footprint of offshore renewable energy, positive externalities, etc. 

Projects will be assessed on :
  • The progress made in environmental protection, including the quantification and characterization of your achievements
  • The replicability of the solution you have implemented
  • The level of interest it has generated from government services and/or environmental associations, supported by relevant testimonials


🌍 International Cooperation Award

Celebrating initiatives led by multiple countries, strengthening global cooperation in the offshore renewable energy sector. 



 Projects will be assessed on : 
  • The level of investment (financial, human, material) relative to the size of the stakeholders involved
  • The impact of the collaboration on the development of activities
  • The collaborative model
