Bluesign, the organiser of Seanergy, is committed to sustainable development through practical actions to limit the environmental impacts of the event. From the design to the event itself, a thorough approach has been taken to make this trade show responsible and environmentally friendly. Bluesign favours manufacturing solutions that respect people and the environment and chooses its service providers accordingly.

1• TRANSPORTS

  • Provision of parking facilities for suppliers and stand builders during the Forum (avoid 2 return trips between assembly and dismantling)
  • Setting up of video conferences during the preparation phase
  • Collaboration with local providers, where possible, to limit road transport

2• VENUE 

  • Integration of the added value of the venue's eco-responsible approach (green electricity, responsible purchasing, waste reduction)
  • Easily accessible (public transport)
  • Accessible to people with disabilities
  • Compliant with regulatory requirements

3• ACCOMODATION

  • Setting up a booking platform partnership that proposes hotels near the event venue

4• CATERING

  • Use of local caterers
  • Provision of self-service water fountains
  • Collaboration with local associations against food waste

5• WASTE

  • Giving a second life to the materials used on the event (tarpaulin, carpet, wood, partitioning) by working with local associations
  • Use of recyclable carpeting
  • Use of eco-responsible construction materials (wood, cardboard)
  • A "plastic free" approach on site (glass dishes, recycled cardboard)
  • Proposal for packaged stands with the principle of modular partitions and rented furniture
  • Installation of skips and selective sorting bins

6• ENERGY / WATER

  • Consideration of the venue's energy supply criteria in the carbon impact
  • Reasonable use of heating or air conditioning
  • Installation of low energy LED spotlights

7• COMMUNICATION 

  • Reduction of the volume of printed communications
  • Selection of an eco-responsible printer (green labels such as Imprim’ vert and Print’ethic)
  • Purchase of limited eco-friendly goodies
  • Diffusion of non-discriminatory and non-stereotypical communications
  • Use of FSC and PEFC paper

8• FURNITURE AND DECORATION

  • Rental and reuse of furniture
  • Choice of light and easily stackable furniture limiting the impact of transport
  • Choice of service suppliers with an ecofriendly offer

9• AWERENESS

  • Choice of local service suppliers when possible
  • Inclusion of eco-responsible recommendations in the specifications and various call for tenders of the event

10• RESPONSIBLE PURCHASING
