Description
With 17 years of experience in wind and PV development, Benoîte Chenut is a dedicated professional in the renewable energy sector. As Project Director at EDF power solutions, she currently leads the development of the 250MW 'Méditerranée Grand Large' project and oversees bid submissions for the floating offshore wind projects under the AO10 tender. A significant aspect of her role involves working closely with shareholders, local stakeholders, and State authorities to facilitate the integrated and viable development of floating offshore wind. Her previous tenure as Structuring and Financing Director saw her contribute to the development of the 25MW Provence Grand Large floating wind farm, managing its financing and equity sale. Benoîte's comprehensive experience extends to leading major offshore wind tender and project finance processes in France, reflecting her deep involvement in the successful realization of large-scale renewable energy projects.
She holds a master’s degree in general engineering from École Centrale de Nantes and a master’s degree in finance from Politecnico of Milan.
