Project manager

Description

With more than fifteen years of experience at Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, Philippe Léon currently serves as Éole Project Lead within the Major Projects Department. He is in charge of the ÉOLE project, which aims to adapt the port infrastructure of Saint-Nazaire to support floating offshore wind development. A specialist in port planning, territorial development and multimodal transport, he has successively headed the operational development, real estate promotion and territorial development departments, while also overseeing relations with local authorities. He notably contributed to the development of the logistics hub site in Saint-Nazaire, in partnership with the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard. Previously involved in fixed-bottom offshore wind, Philippe Léon worked on the development of port platforms that enabled the delivery of the first commercial fixed-bottom offshore wind farms in France. Today, Philippe Léon is leading the core studies for the Éole project, a future industrial platform dedicated to marine renewable energies. A committed player in the port’s energy transition, he regularly speaks at international events to share the expertise of Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port in offshore wind projects, particularly floating wind.
