Description
Philippe Deiss previously headed the Port of St Malo (a port of national interest), the Autonomous Port of Bordeaux, and the Grand Port Maritime de Rouen.
Together with Laurent Castaing and Hervé Martel, he founded the Haropa Economic Interest Group (GIE) in 2012, serving as its first Chairman.
Within the Union of French Ports (UPF), he chaired the Social Affairs Committee for 10 years, followed by a further 10 years as chair of the European Affairs Committee.
He is currently head of Ports de Normandie, which comprises the ports of Caen-Ouistreham, Cherbourg and Dieppe.
