Building on the expertise gained during the deployment of Saint Nazaire wind farm, France’s first offshore windfarm, and more recently through the development of the Yeu and Noirmoutier offshore wind project -scheduled to be commissioned in spring 2026- Nantes Saint Nazaire Port has established itself as the benchmark logistics platform for the marine renewable energy sector.
Looking ahead, Nantes Saint Nazaire Port is entering a new strategic phase with the EOLE project, upgrading and adapting its infrastructure to support the assembly of the next generation of fixed foundation and floating offshore wind turbines. Designed to meet the requirements of large scale offshore wind developments, this project represents a major milestone in the roll out of offshore wind along the Atlantic coast.
