The Multi-(re)use project delivers a technical, economic, environmental and legal feasibility study for re-using (end-of-life process) the monopiles foundations of offshore wind turbines for multi-functional purposes. The objectives of the study are to increase the knowledge with respect to potential hybrid-re(use) of monopile foundations by connecting other energy production technologies (wave energy converters, tidal energy converters or floating solar panels) in combination with energy storage solutions or aquaculture concept elements.
