Port of Port-La Nouvelle
E13
Description
Over the past few years, the commercial port of Port‑La Nouvelle has undergone a major transformation, driven by a clear strategy focused on energy transition and industrial value creation. Structured around three key pillars : floating offshore wind, low‑carbon hydrogen and multimodal logistics, the port has established itself as a leading energy hub in the Mediterranean.
Port‑La Nouvelle has successfully hosted the two floating wind pilot projects, EOLMED and EFGL, demonstrating its ability to manage the full industrial value chain. These operations relied in particular on the central role of Euroports, operator and manager of the newly developed terminals, including the terminal dedicated to offshore wind activities.
Building on this operational experience, the port is now preparing the transition to the commercial phase through the NOUVEOL project, an integrated industrial‑port facility designed to support the large‑scale deployment of future floating wind farms in the Mediterranean.
